OUR LAMPS

After a few years in Stockholm, and many conversations with clients and friends, Adrienne noticed a high demand for beautiful table lamps. Although there are some beautiful options on the Swedish market, it still does not compare to what is offered in the UK. Hence, the Swedish interior enthusiast often find themselves browsing the UK sites, dreaming of a time pre-Brexit shipping costs and customs. To get around this, Adrienne is launching her very own lamp collection.

Offering four interesting designs, with a choice of four beautiful colours, this is a new and exciting addition to the ever growing Stockholm interior design market.

OUR STORY

Adrienne De Geer

Director of With a Story Interiors

With a Story Interiors is a Stockholm-based interior design studio, working on project in Sweden, as well as abroad. Our aim is to create beautiful, welcoming and personal residential spaces.

Originally from Sweden, Adrienne De Geer finds Scandinavian design and style inherent to her taste. Her style has been shaped further by several years of training and working within the London art and design world: experiences which inevitably influence her

interiors and set her apart from the typical Scandinavian minimalist approach.

Following a four-year History of Art degree from Edinburgh University, Adrienne worked at Sotheby’s London. Enrolling at the Inchbald School of Design marked her step towards the field of Interior Design. A few notable professional experiences followed: firstly, Adrienne worked alongside the brilliant fabric and interior designer Penny Morrison. Then she joined the widely recognised interior designer Susie Atkinson and her team. Finally, in 2020 Adrienne joined Studio Peake, where she worked on a four-storey Chelsea townhouse, and for whom she still free-lances today.

Now settled in Stockholm, Adrienne set up the company in 2021.

WHAT WE DO

Little by Little

A lot of our clients come to us because they love beautiful interiors but are struggling to reach that “finished” feel in their home. This is why, in addition to the regular interior design service, we have launched a new service called Little by Little. It is for those who don’t feel ready to embark on a whole-house renovation but rather want to make smaller, non-structural changes to their home. This is a service we’re able to provide remotely, so wether the client is based in the UK, Sweden or elsewhere, Little by Little can be of benefit to them.

If this sounds interesting, please feel free to contact us. Send over four images of the room in question, along with a short explanation of what inspires you and what your vision for the room is. What would you like to change and what would you like to keep? We’ll then send over a quote, before providing a set of digital mood boards, fabric schemes and furniture, lighting and accessory specifications, also known as a ”shoppinglist”, all in accordance to your brief.

Interior Design and Consultancy

With a Story Interiors aims to create welcoming and original homes, with the client and their lifestyle at the very core. We offer interior design services at different levels and so, wether you need help with your entire home, or just one room, we can help you bring it all together.

Adrienne brings the characteristically colourful British style and the more stripped back Scandinavian aesthetic together in all her design projects. Not afraid of colour and pattern, the aim is to create a joyful yet calm space where people want to spend time and feel comfortable.

With a Story Shop

The idea for With a Story Shop started during Adrienne’s time at Susie Atkinson Design, where her role centred around sourcing pieces for various projects. A beautiful vintage piece or an antique find can add the final defining character to a space. Adrienne learned to steer clear of large-scale producers or big brands, and instead focus on more unconventional, alternative routes to find eclectic and original pieces.

What our clients say about us...

Adrienne recently was a great help with our new London flat.

As we had recently moved, we had a selection of different furniture and Adrienne understood our brief clearly. She helped room by room to meet our needs both functionally and stylistically and identify items to add.

She put together multiple detailed mood boards, leveraging her experience and skills to offer insights and options for layouts and styles. Despite being remote due to Covid-19, Adrienne was incredibly responsive and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure the project was a success.

I couldn’t recommend Adrienne enough and can’t wait to use her for the next project!
